Liverpool Uranium Project

Prospective for unconformity style uranium mineralisation

The Liverpool Project lies 285km east of Darwin and is situated in the Alligator Rivers Uranium Fields (ARUF) in West Arnhem Land within Aboriginal Freehold Land represented by the Northern Land Council (NLC).

Tenements comprises 5 exploration licenses totaling 1,464km2 and are prospective for high-grade unconformity style uranium mineralisation, with similar geology to the world class Ranger, Nabarlek, and Jabiluka uranium deposits.

This includes the Devil’s Elbow uranium-gold-palladium prospect (part of the Liverpool Projects) located within granted tenement EL27584, which yielded high grade surface uranium assays of 3.2% U3O8, 3.7% U3O8, 4.40% U3O8 and 5.8% U3O8, with 38.1 g/t Au and 28.02 g/t Pd related to fractures within altered amygdaloidal basalt of the Nungbalgarri Volcanics.

The project has had work undertaken by reputable explorers including Cameco, Uranez and Rio Tinto, but is still largely unexplored and warrants further exploration using modern techniques.

Major uranium deposits within the Alligator Rivers Uranium Field include:

  • Nabarlek 24Mlbs U3O8

  • Ranger 300Mlbs U3O8

  • Jabiluka 307Mlbs U3O8

  • Angularli 32.9Mlbs U3O8

The focus of Oz Yellow's exploration strategy is the discovery of unconformity-style uranium deposits.  There is also additional potential for gold, palladium and platinum Coronation Hill style deposits of the South Alligator Valley (SAV) region within the Company’s tenement areas for exploration.

Devil's Elbow Prospect

The Devil's Elbow Prospect is located within granted tenement EL 27584 and has an agreement with the NLC to operate and explore. The Devil’s Elbow is prospective for high grade unconformity-related uranium mineralisation, with historic surface trenching yielding high grade uranium assays of 3.2% U3O8, 4.4% U3O8 and 5.8% U3O8, with 38.1 g/t Au and 28g/t Pd.

Previous work undertaken by reputable explorers include Uranerz (to 1989) and Cameco (to 2005);  Rio Tinto JV with Eclipse Metals in 2016; have identified multiple uranium targets ranging from conceptual to advanced uranium targets. Geophysical interpretation of airborne survey data has highlighted several untested high priority drill targets with geophysical signatures with similarities to other deposits in the Alligator Rivers Uranium Field.

The Devil's Elbow prospect is located 70kms east of the Ranger Mine and 40kms south-east of the rehabilitated Narbalek uranium mine.
